Methodist Campground at Presho Question

I found the answer to my question on the August 5th ,2011" Blog  Post "about the location of the Methodist Campground in Presho and posted it under comments for that article.  By clicking on sidebar for  2011  - August, you can read comments being made between a reader and myself pertaining to events that occurred in this area. It's nice to know the blog was able to assist a reader's family and nice to know that the answer was in Uri's book all along.
Now if I just had time to read all the book and retain what I read.

A former Lindley resident was curious as to the date. Eleazer Lindsley  and Lindsley Coat of Arms (Composite photo made for the Steuben County Hall of Fame) Lindley no longer has a school in the town and this is my way of letting the residents learn about the town where they live .  The following will be excerpts from various histories about the history  of the Town of Lindley. Each historian or person writing the following information has made his own  interpretation of the facts .  Kitty Lt. Colonel Eleazer Lindsley was born December 7th, 1737 in Morristown, New Jersey -the son of Jonathon Lindsley. He died in Lindley, N.Y. June 1,1794. He served as a Lt .Colonel. in Colonel Oliver Spencer's Regiment of New Jersey Continental Troops. He was ,also, a Second Major in the Morris County ,Militia . Thanks ,Tracy. There is so much history connected with Lindley and the people connected to the history, that the blog will be expanded to include more stories about people. Some stories will be funny, some will be sad, but they will help tell the story of the growth of a settlement started in the wilderness by a group of New Jersey settlers in  June ,1790  (almost 226 years ago)    How can the history of a place be told without relating stories about  the people who lived there?  History can be fun, interesting  and  not all facts and figures.
